In preparation for making a move in late July, I have just undertaken the task
of importing all of our CD's into iTunes on my iMac. I would like to sync as
many as can fit to my iPod Touch. I have the 64 gig iPod Touch, but since I'm
assuming that the files will be converted for the Touch in the process of
syncing, is there a way to estimate if I'll have enough room on my Touch?
Also, when I added some of my favorite radio streams to iTunes, they appeared
in my songs or music table. Obviously, I don't want them to show up on my
Touch, because I already have radio apps for them there. It doesn't seem very
efficient to check all the songs I want synced, because the number is in the
thousands, but I don't want to delete the URLs because I like to listen to the
stations on my iMac sometimes. What is the best way to deal with this? Any
helpful tips from anyone experienced at the syncing process would be most
appreciated! As an aside, I have kept a number of recommended re
ferences for handling iTunes questions for which I am most grateful, but
currently I'm in a bind to get this project completed so I can forge on with
myriad other projects related to our upcoming move. Again, thanks for all the
fabulous help offered on this list!
