Hello everybody Does anybody happen to know where I can find information regarding an equivalent to Apple's US Certified Apple Professional which applies to the United Kingdom? I have been discussing this possibility with another list member who is US-based and I'm being continually frustrated in my search by Apple's seeming paranoia about restricting such things to the United States of America and Canada only. It seems to be another of those inaccurate and very irritating assumptions on Apple's part that no intelligent life exists outside of North America. They are quick enough to take our money when they want to sell us their merchandise which, I have to say, is often the best of the bunch in my humble opinion. Often, but not by any means always. However, when it comes to anything like accreditations, Apple seems to be strangely reluctant to permit anybody beyond the hallowed territory to better themselves and join the elite club.
We are looking seriously at doing this if it's possible in order to expand Mac Access Dot Net for our own benefit and that of our clients and friends. Our friends include every member of this group, as far as we are concerned. I should emphasise though that we are not looking to profit financially from our clients or friends; not, at any rate, in as much as the services we currently have to offer. Our goal is simply to expand our presence within our immediate locality, now that Gordon is home again. I feel that Gordon could fill a hole in the local market when it comes to Apple support, as there isn't an agent within 30 miles that we are aware of. Thank you for any advice or constructive comment. Feel free to contact me off list if you prefer. My address is <[email protected]>.
