Hi Everyone! I have a small DAB+ radio here which fits into my pocket and can record onto a SD card, I thought this device could be used to record a radio programme and edit it at a future time using Amadeus Pro.
Wel that was the theory in any case but Amadeus Pro came up with an "Empty container" error when opening the ATDS file as created by my DAB+ radio. I reported - what appeared to be a bug - to the developer of Amadeus Pro and sent the developer a sample of the file the DAB+ radio created. I also mentioned to the developer that VLC had no problem whatever in playing the file. The developer promptly returned my bug report email and his reply was an interesting one. Turns out that Amadeus Pro wasn't the problem, rather its the audio/video decoders developed by Apple which seem to be the hicup here, they refuse to recognise the file at all so a bug report has been forwarded to Apple and we can only hope it will be acted upon. So why does VLC handle the ATDS files created by my pocket DAB+ radio so well? Because VLC uses its own audio/video decoders. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
