Hi William, No, the two finger flick down works on the IPad as it does on the IPhone to read continuously in an IBook, so long as you start having put focus on the text area prior to the flick gesture. You don't get two pages side by side on the IPad. You get more text of course, because the screen is larger. And I have noticed that every once in a while, when in Ibooks, the reading will stop and I'll get tossed up to the top of the screen and the library button gets focus. But that happens on the IPod too, not just the IPad.
