I rarely use my own trackpad as the sensitivity seems too much and it seems
obsessed with turning Voiceover off  or screen curtain on with the slightest
accidental touch. but nevertheless I did need it once when I found a CD
would not eject  despite constant restarts. Sarah on this list recommended
holding down on the trackpad as the IMac restarted and that indeed did mean
that the CD popped out on restart. Perhaps you can do the same thing with a
mouse but it would be worth checking out that you would not lose this and
other functionality.

i don't need one obviously i did have the magic mouse but sold it for the
trackpad but have come full circle now i ahve the numb pad commander lol but
