Hi all

This is one thing that sometimes confuses me if I have speech set very fast and
am browsing through a file list. Is there a way to have Mac OS not try to
assign type descriptions to files or, just as good perhaps, to modify the
description of a file type?

For instance, a "Dot E X E", (Windows Executable) or a "Dot M S I" (Windows
Installer), are referenced by Mac OS X as "Documents". That's clearly not
right, and it would be helpful sometimes if this behaviour could be changed.

If there is a way and I've overlooked it, I'm more than happy to be corrected.

Thanks.

Gordon
