Hi,
I have this link to "Radio Talking Service"
http://stream1.rtbs.org:8000/test.mp3.m3u
which I texted to my iPhone, and I can open the text message and double-tap
the link, and it opens Safari, and then opens a media player and plays the
stream as I would like.
The difficulty is that I want to make the link on my home screen.
I closed the media player, and saved the page as a bookmark, and that works
from Safari too.
But I would like to be able to select the link from the text, or otherwise
just move to it, and be able to make it a shortcut on my home screen for
later use.
I don't want to keep the text message to have to open the stream from there.
When I tried to close the media player and save the address as a link on the
home screen, it did, and then it only opens a Google page, which is my home
page.
So maybe the utility option was for putting it on my Safari home page, and
not a separate icon on my home screen.
I think my original thought is the preferred method, if I can select the
link in the text message, copy it, and somehow, make a shortcut on one of my
screens of the iPhone.
Hope I did not make the question to confusing.
