i seem to be having a problem with bluetooth on the i-phone 4.
this doesn't happen always but when i have my bluetooth headset
connected to my i-phone 4, i sometimes find it has disconnected
after dialing calls on the phone.
what happens is that i hear a bleep or two bleeps after i dial a
number and find that my call is transfered to the handsfree
speaker which means i don't hear the call unless i pick up my
phone and put it to my ear like the headset has disconnected.
i have the plantronix pro plus headset and it is supposed to pair
without needing a bluetooth code and also it is supposed to be
detected when the headset is worn, assuming the power is on as
there are only three buttons, the two volume controls and the
button that powers on the headset.
the only thing i can think of doing is to go into bluetooth
settings, forget the pairing or whatever the option is to unpair
the headset and go through the pairing proceedure again or turn
off wifi while i am not using it in the hope that i don't get
this switching problem.
the problem i am having with the headset is a bit like the
problem with the switching of the phone between hands free
speaker and ear piece of the phone.
does anyone else have this same problem with bluetooth headsets
and if so have they resolved it?
