Hello Ian, To make Kobo easy to use with VoiceOver, you have to make one adjustment in the settings. To make the controls visible, double tap with one finger in the middle of the screen. At the top of the screen, you should find items such as Home, Icon TOC and Icon Gear. Icon Gear means settings. So tap that and set page turning to scrolling.
Now, you can tap Icon TOC to get to the table of contents and double tap the chapter you want. At the beginning and end of each chapter, you'll find two links. The first of each pair is Previous chapter, and the second is Next chapter. You can read straight through a chapter by doing a two-finger swipe up. You can pause reading with a two-finger tap. You will hear a click whenever there is a new line. I recently read a book with new line characters all over the place which made it a bit unpleasant to read, but this is rare. Good luck, Cheers, Anne On 26 Jun 2012, at 10:06, Ian McNamara wrote: > Hi all, got the kobo app and it looks pretty good. I linked it with my > account and can see the book I bought in my library.
