Try launching your system with your cd or recovery council if you are using lion. then go to the utilities menu after launching voice over and then there should be a reset password. I can't' remember since the way I solved my problem was to reinstall my os but there's probably an easier way lol! I don't think you are locked out of your mac.I hope someone can help you.
