Aww. I'm sorry to hear that! Both of my characters, Eponine and Ramie, are official newbie helpers, and especially lately, 1 of them is around for at least a few hours every day. If you'd ever want to give it another try, feel free to email me and I'd be happy to log 1 of them on to help you. Also, a lot depends on when you gave it a try. They now have a completely redesigned newbie area called Pumpkin Town. I prefer the old newbie area myself; that's what both of my characters used, but I created characters just to learn about pumpkin town, and it really isn't that hard. Now, I have fairly decent mental maps of most of the major cities, and my priestess has portals to all kinds of popular destinations. So, if you or anyone else on this list are interested in giving Discworld another shot some day, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Missy
