I think that perhaps those who are unhappy about this should discuss calmly and patiently with the developer of the app? Demanding something like this usually doesn't work. My understanding is that this is not directly an Apple application. It's just a fact that some applications work better on one device than another. I really don't understand the fuss, to be honest.
