If you had to listen to every letter you type, it would slow the typing process down and that can already be achieved with touch typing mode on the iPhone as standard with VO. The idea behind this app is to be able to type faster and more efficiently. If you hold your finger long enough on the keyboard to enter words in manually, you can then hear each letter.
