Hi Lynne,

There's a genuine accessibility issue with the Java Preferences app, in that
you can't navigate to the other tabs with VoiceOver when one is selected. So
routing the mouse cursor doesn't work before clicking with VO-Shift-Space,
because you can't get to another tab. And I remember that in a previous
version of OS X, I had to check something in the table on one of these pages,
and couldn't interact or view the entry with VoiceOver.

It's worth reporting this to the Apple Accessibility team, and also checking
whether this is still a problem in Mountain Lion, for anyone who has access to
the gold master for development testing.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
