You might be able to use the iPhone configuration utility to do this.  I don't 
use it in that fashion but from what i understand you can create specific 
profiles  for specific things, for example to connect to a wifi network and all 
you do is email someone that profile and  when they get to your destination. 
They just install said profile and away they go. You might be able to find it 
at http://Apple.Com/downloads
