There is a slight drawback that I have found in having Mouse keys in the
background when Num pad commander is on.
It appears that num pad commander does not retain command of the 5 key. You
will therefore lose focus when you think you are using 5 to deliver the of vo
space you will in fact be delivering a mouse click.

The only way around this I have found is to turn mouse keys off BY pressing the
option key 5 times until VO announces mouse keys off. Then you can recommence
num pad commander as normal.
Still usable, but not so convenient.
