Actually the recovery assistant tool is quite interesting because it writes which ever operating system you happen to be using at the time to the thumb drive. I've used this several times using both Lion and Mountain Lion. If anybody wants a quick link to this tool, you can find it here: <https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22572701/RecoveryDiskAssistant.dmg>

I believe you can use Apple's Recovery Disk Assistant to make this and get it either from Apple's download site or from the Dropbox address that Gordon posted earlier: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22572701/RecoveryDiskAssistant.dmg Note that I haven't loaded up Mountain Lion yet to try it, but I've heard others have done this successfully. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
