Hi Ian,
Go to system preferences and users and groups and the login items
interact with the table stop when your on the drop box app stop interacting vo
right arrow to remove login item reboot your mac if you haven't already down
load the current version which is 1.4.12 open the dmg file then drag and drop
it on the application alias and you will be prompted to replace the current app
and once you do that go to the application folder and open dropbox and your
good to go.
