Hi Mike,
I had a choice of getting a macbook air or a macbook pro yes the air is
lighter but I needed 8gig of ram so I could run vmware fusion and windows 7
64bit for those few things that I need windows for and the hard disc was much
larger and the macbook pro has cooling fans on the processor I have heard of
the air getting very hot the new retina mac book pro has several fans in it to
keep it cool and you can go up to 16 gig of ram.
Regards Dean
