Hi Glenn, Perhaps I'm not understanding your question. Assuming that the desired page is open in Safari on your IOS device, the procedure for placing an icon on the home screen is to double tap the "utility" button which is located on the bottom of the Safari window near the center. From the resulting dialog, one of the available buttons is labeled: "add to home screen". Should you ever desire to copy the URL, you would have several options. From your email or text message, navigate to the link, and use the pass through gesture (double tap and hold). When you here the triple bonk noise, you can right flick to options such as "copy". If the item is launched in Safari: 1. Navigate to the URL. 2. Double tap to edit. 3. Use the roter gesture to select "edit". 4. Flick down to "select all" (I think "select" yields the identical result). 5. Select "copy". ".

I can go to my messages on my iPhone, and tap on the link and it opens the page, but I want to make a link on my home screen for it, so I select it by spreading my fingers on the text, and that selects it. The thing is, I cannot figure out how to copy the link after I select it. Thanks for any help.
