Sorry everyone, I came in late on this thread thus haven't read any past 
messages on the subject.

I appreciate Chris's point regarding the geographical location of Apple Stores, 
I'm in the same boat the nearest to me being around 45 minutes away so I have 
to rely on information from lists such as this, fello Mac users and Podcasts, 
of which there are many thus providing a great deal of opinion.

You might try sites on the Internet such as http://www.blindcooltech.com> for 
further information and demonstration of the Macbook? I'm not sure how up to 
date the Blind Cool Tech site is these days but worth a try I reckon.
