I guess the answer to this question is the more you play with Logitech Squeezebox components - and in particular the IOS apps and the web interface then the more versatile the system becomes.
I'm not going to cover the physical Logitech devices in this email rather I'd like to focus on the excellent iPeng and iPeng HD apps available for IOS. Not only do these apps present a superb interface for controlling your Logitech Squeezebox devices but they offer you that little bit "Extra", if one looks in the "Extras" menu then they will find an option to purchase the iPeng Player. This player simulates a Logitech Squeezebox device such as a Boom, Radio, Duet or touch. You can connect the simulation player to the Logitech Squeezebox server or your own Logitech Media server in the same way you would for one of the devices listed above and control it thus. You can even set the simulation player up in much the same way, set alarms, customise the menu system, control the audio with bass, treble and volume etc. Added to this is the ability to stream the iPeng player to "Airplay" compatible devices which really makes the extra few dollars in the purchase of the iPeng simulation Squeezebox Player really worth the while. So now, users can buy the iPeng package for very little cost and literally try out what the Logitech Squeezebox system offers and without the cost of a "Stand-Alone" Logitech Squeezebox device. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
