Just thought I'd give a quick message on how helpful using an Apple Remote is
within Garageband. Esp if your recording live instruments or with mikes, being
able to place them further away from your machine to avoid fan noise or in the
case of electric guitars etc, buzz & hum, the Remote does a brilliant job. You
can switch through tracks, scroll through the time line, play pause and record.
You may well be able to do more but I've only just started playing but thought
I'd let those who may be unaware know as it was a pleasant surprise to me.

At least in the Australian apple store, the remote is only $20 and after
proving proof of concept nicking the remote from the apple tv, I promptly
invested in 1 for the macbook pro. I'm also looking forward to being able to
listen to books, music etc from a distance as it were. Now all I need is a
recommendation for a decent wireless headset and with the remote, headset and
the bt keyboard, I'll be set to gain weight and lose mobility. <smile>

Regards,
Danny:
