Hi there, Installing any sort of drive in a Macbook pro is dead handy. Just a few things to watch out for:
1. in order to open the case (assuming you have the Unibody) you'll need a small "jewler's " screwdriver. It's a philips head as far as I remember. They're widely available. When you take the screws off just place them on a surface in such a way as to ensure that the correct screw goes back in the correct place, as they are of differing lengths. 2. When it comes to the drive itself, you'll need a screwdriver called a "torx 6". Again these are widely available. The reason is that on your old drive there are four things with screwheads which keep the drive firmly in place.
