Last night, I went to bed leaving the iMac in a powered on state. I awoke
to hear the sound of the iMac powering on, as if someone had just pressed
the power button. I'm wondering if there is a system event log that I can
consult to see what happened? Is this behavior normal? I was thinking that
perhaps an automatic software update requiring a reboot happened without my
knowledge.
Any ideas what could have caused the iMac to reboot itself? Is there such a
system event log available?
