Hi,

If you are happy with the capabilities of the 4s today, it will likely retain 
those capabilities for the next two years. If, however, you think that you 
would really like to be able to take advantage of whatever capabilities the new 
phone might have that the 4s doesn't have, you should wait.

My wife, for example, could care less about the new phone. She just wants a 4s 
so that she can have siri. I, on the other hand, am an early adopter and get 
really excited about being able to play with the latest and greatest. You just 
have to figure out what kind of personality you have and make your choice based 
on what is most important to you.
