I only turn off vo in the iTunes thing when option clicking the restore button as that's about the only way i could get it to work. I can option click other places though. In some dialogues you nut turn off vo in order for the option click, or the control click to be registered. Have a play with some stuff and you will quickly learn which ones. lol!
