Hello Trevor, First of all, here is the URL for the Guardian crosswords: <http://www.guardian.co.uk/crosswords>
If you use the Web Rotor, you can go to Headings and type the number 3. This will give you the choice of either the quick crossword or the cryptic crossword. Select the one you want and click the link. Use the Web Rotor to find Heading level 4: Across. If in DOM mode, navigate right to the Across clues. If in Groups mode, navigate down to the table of Across clues and interact. To enter the solution, set a hotspot on the clue (I use hotspot 0 so that I can press VO and Shift with my left hand and 0 with my right), then press VO-Space bar to get to the grid and type in the answer. In Groups mode, you have to interact with each clue and click on the clue number to get to the grid. Return to the list of clues by jumping back to the hotspot. You can reuse the same hotspot all the way through. To check a clue, navigate left from the Across heading and click the Check button. Jump to the hotspot then click the clue or, in Groups mode, its number, and use the right arrow for Across clues and down arrow for Down clues to read the letters. Any wrong letters will have been removed. You can also click on the Cheat button to have the answer entered into the grid. Having clicked on the clue, you can, of course, see what letters are already there by using the right arrow key for Across clues and the down arrow key for Down clues. If at any point you find that you can't get into the grid, use the Web Rotor to return to either the Across or Down heading.
