Ring tones resource
If you like those funny ringtones
everyone has but don't know where to get them, go here:

On this page you'll find a collection of wallpapers and ringtones.
Here's how it works:
1. Click a category, for example Funny.
2. A new page opens up and a table (at least for jaws users) shows up.
There's a link to go to the page of the ringtone, than the category
and than a weirdly labeled image, that is a preview play button. When
you click on the ringtone's name (first column) you go to the
ringtone's page where you can share it with facebook and twitter and
all, and there's a download as mp3 and download for iPhone link. the
second one is what you want. Wait a sec and a download dialog should
pop up. If you are using IE this could be stopped by your information
bar popping up, use alt+n followed by spacebar to get into that menu
and click download file . Happy downloading!

I posted info on applevis.com about Ringtone Maker yesterday.
I was browsing through the top 25 free apps and came across #9, Ringtone
Maker, Make Free ringtones from your music, by Zentertain Limited.
It had a rating of 4.5. So, I tried it out.
It works quite well with Voice Over. The default is to take the first 20
seconds of any song you choose on your phone.
You can adjust that, which I have not tried yet.
You double tap the music button and that opens up your music library.
Double tap the song you want.
You will have a screen that I have not fully explored with options to adjust
how long the ring tone will be and where the start and end points are. I
just accepted the default and hit the save button. At that point it begins
"creating" the ring tone.
When it is done, you can hit the music button to select another song, or
just hit home to get out of the app.
Ringtone Maker will show up under the File Sharing section of iTunes on the
Apps tab.
You then save the ring tone you have created to your computer.
Then, add it to your iTunes Library.
Sync the phone and your new Ringtone will be added to the phone.
