Hi,
I haven't found another PDF reader that is accessible. I haven't tried them
all though because many of them are $4.99 and up and I would rather not
waste the money. I haven't heard anything from anyone else about one that
works. I will look in to the mobiPocket issue and see what I can find out.

Subject: RE: Navigating a pdf in IBooks and reading mobi files
Hi there
Thanks for looking into this for me. Do you know if there is another PDF
reader that will allow me to read line by line? Also, does anybody know
if
there is an app that will read mobi files. I've tried converting the mobi
files to epub, but it inserts a lot of weird characters and makes it
difficult to read.
Thanks for any help with these issues.
Cheers
Paula

Hi,
I started researching this after sending my reply. I was unable to get
lines
as a navigation option either. I have also read where others have reported
the same. I apologize for steering you wrong with my answer, but I figured
it would work since it seems to work everwhere else. There appears to be
no
way to navigate by line in iBooks accept to move one finger up and down
the
screen and letting voice over read what is under your finger. This is a
poor
work around as it takes some precise moving. Perhaps someone else can
chime
in with another suggestion.

Hi there
I am not getting lines as an option when I am in the document in IBooks.
Is
there a way to turn this on?
Thanks
Paula

You would first need to turn the roter to lines and then tap somewhere on
the screen with the text of the book. Then you should be able to flick up
or
down to move to the previous or next line.

Subject: Navigating a pdf in IBooks
Hi there
I read some information that if you do a 1 finger swipe down, IBooks
will read line by line. This is not happening for me, the document
simply starts reading again from the beginning. Is there any way to
navigate a pdf in IBooks except than page by page?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers
Paula
