Hi Donal It's not the best way of doing this job, but with Migration assistant, you can actually check boxes for which types of files you want to move. But what I would suggest you do is, if possible, just move/copy the files on block to an external disk then copy them back over that way. If you're talking about a complete user account, you could then use Migration assistant and select another volume.
