No. don't remap apple devices is not checked so it should work. I can hit caps 
lock shift d on my laptop keyboard and it will go to the finder whilst the same 
keystroke dings at me. it's the same with caps lock f1 f1. works on the laptop 
does not work on my apple bt keyboard. I installed the latest key remap for mac 
software to see if that was the issue and it was not. I even restarted the 
computer and voice over with no go. and it is enabled in the  remap software. I 
don't uses any other remapping software on the mac.
