Thank you for taking an interest in this problem.

I downloaded the Kobo by FNAC app and tried to sign in using my existing Kobo 
details but they were not recognised.

This morning, I phoned the FNAC help line as shown in the Kobo by FNAC app, and 
the technician I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful. He fused my Kobo 
account with a FNAC account, and now I have access to all my books. He was even 
aware of VoiceOver!
