I agree that maybe ti should be a toggle. if someone is a klutz like I am then the toggle for it to be to reset the mic switch to 0. if you are very careful like I am 99percent of the time then there should be a radio button or what ever to not reset the mic to 0.
I don't know how accessible the shout cast consul is but I would try and find shout cast V1 and see if you can grab the consul app for mac if one exists and runn it on your own server. then use nice cast to connect to your own shout cast server. I myself use a dedicated ice cast surfer but it's personal preference. *smiles* Good luck. and be safe.
