Hi Donal, You are correct. The current LearningAlly Audiobook Manager for Mac is not VO friendly. I think Sarah can provide more details, but I personally gave up on it and now exclusively use the nice LearningAlly IOS App to download and listen to my LA books on my iPhone.. I'd suggest contacting LA Customer Support and adding your voice to the list of frustrated Mac Users.
On a hopefully related note, I did receive an email notification yesterday from LearningAlly saying they are scheduled to perform significant upgrades to their website this weekend, including the following upgrades. While the download manager is not specifically mentioned, we can still hope... • Improved Browse & Search functionality, with more titles to choose from • VOICEtext - Text highlighting so you can easily follow along with the audio* • Free App & Software - Learning Ally Audio app and ReadHear for Mac & PC for anytime, anywhere listening Cheers, Bryan On Nov 9, 2012, at 3:47 PM, Dónal Fitzpatrick <[email protected]> wrote: > Ok I've seen some hideous pieces of software in my time, but this one takes > the biscuit (cookie for our American friends). <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
