William,

I think the confusion here is in the word "small". This can mean a thin,
light, portable display which still has 40 cells. alternatively it can mean a
display which has 12-20 cells.

In the former category either the Brailliant or Focus 40 blue work well however
in my experience the latter is better. the reason is that there are more
buttons, and the amount of control is better.

A colleague of mine uses the Braille Pen. However, and this is purely from
memory, I think he said that there are no routing buttons on it. The ESYS
display only has 12 cells but it does have the routing buttons and other
features.

Hope this information is useful,

Dónal
