As I understand it, although I could be wrong, this little boy has vision, just dexterity problems. I still believe that his age group is too young for this type of technology. But I'm not employed in their department so I cannot really comment much further. As I said, I do not want to turn this thread into a morality discussion. People have a perfect right to decide upon what's best for the children in their care and assuming the parents or guardians of this child have been consulted which, given the experience of the teacher in charge, I am sure they will have been, then that ends the issue of whether he should be using one because adults in charge of his welfare have clearly made that decision.

But this child is in primary care and it isn't really my call. I'm just answering questions. I don't want to turn this thread into a morality discussion. But for the record, if it were me I would be saying wait till you grow up. I actually think this is more the problem of the teachers than the child. The child is too young to decide.
