Hi You were close. Make sure you are in the general tab. It is under a heading called download audio described and signed. To the right is the check box. From what I can see this means an audio described version will always be downloaded if it is available.
One approach I use when searching for preferences on a busy page is to use the item chooser and try to guess the right word to search for. In this example, I used the word audio and got to it straight away. You get to item chooser by pressing control option and the letter i. Start typing a key word and the chooser narrows it down. Good luck IanOn 29 November 2012, at 12:06, michael weaver wrote: > i have managed to find my copy of get itplayer automator. > how do i choose the audio description option for a tv program if available? > i went into preferences only i couldn't find the option unless the audio > description setting only shows up when you add the programmes to the queue or > download the eppisodes. > it shows both one and two of "the secret of crickley hall" which is a start. > my guess is that audio description option isn't available until you download. > <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> > > To reply to this post, please address your message to > [email protected] > > You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at > either the list's own dedicated web archive: > <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> > or at the public Mail Archive: > <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. > Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: > <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> > > The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and > worm-free! > > Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting > the list website at: > <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
