As I am the one who "Forgot" that absolutely no forwarding is allowed, [I incorrectly recalled that policy was no forwarding of obvious material from similar lists and will not make that huge! mistake again] what then is the procedure of giving correct, helpful information to the list that is found else ware? Do we post links to other list archives with search terms for people to search out the thread or specific message? We certainly can't Copy and paste as that is clearly plagiarism and not at all acceptable.
It's easy to post a link for an article and I assume posting text from articles isn't allowed if forwarding isn't so is there a way to provide listers with information on posts from other lists with out breaking further list policy or making the retrieval task more trouble than most listers will go through? Please don't take this in the wrong way. I'm honestly trying to find a suitable way that I and others can provide helpful information for the list. I know at least in my case, I'm not on tuns of lists and rely to a large part on other people pointing me in the direction of helpful and interesting content through the few lists I am on. Apologies yet again for causing such obvious trouble. I never intended to make what sounds like a huge amount of work for the moderators and if it helps, I for 1 will refrain from doing anything of the sort again so if it's just because of me, no need to fear any more as no more forwards at all from this list member.
