My brother has just moved from windows to ML with win7 on Fusion 5 and has a couple of questions regarding mail importing and GMail and any help would be gratefully appreciated.
He has a very large mail account on Outlook 2010 and is looking for the best solution on how to be able to access the messages but at the same time wants to move over to Apple Mail and do his calendar etc via the calendar and reminders apps on OSX and IOS. 1, Is there a good import tool to get his messages over to AppleMail? 2, If he creates a gMail account and uploads his outlook mail to that, within apple mail can you search the messages on the gmail server or is that only possible on the page itself. 3, If he uploads to gmail and then downloads the messages to apple mail are there any pitfalls etc he should be aware of. 4, which solution above would be the most successful or is there a different solution we could be looking into.
