Hi Jim, No, there's a separate Mac version of the Amazing Slow Downer that is sold from the developer's web site. He does have a trial version, which is how I know that the app is accessible, but it costs $49.95 for the Mac version of the app. The iOS app is universal, and I know that VoiceOver users have been using it since the first iPhone 3GS came out. There's also a Lite version of the iOS app that will let you try it out on a portion of your selected tracks (maybe the first third or fourth of an imported track). By the way, you can also use the app to speed up playback while maintaining pitch.
I don't know how the free period is timed to app stores outside the U.S. -- sometimes it is the same release times and sometimes it is a fixed period set to the time zone of the other stores. When in doubt, click on the app store link now and purchase if it is still free! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/amazing-slow-downer/id308998718?mt=8 HTH.
