Very, very well said! Whenever I get my first IPhone, I think this app will be
a Godsend. Assuming it isn't terribly
expensive, it will be 1 of the first things I load onto the phone. From what
I've heard and also experienced in my feeble
attempts to play with my mom's Ipad, The biggest problem with the practice area
of VO, is that you already have to know how
to use VO to get to it. For a complete newbie, that would be beyond
frustrating. If this new app emulates the tutorial built
into OSX, then that's more in line with what a true newbie, especially one who
is hesitant about using a touch screen, needs.
So, for folks who don't need it, that's great. More power to you. But on behalf
of the rest of us, I'd like to thank whoever
came up with such a thoughtful and practical app.

I'm not commenting on your comment but rather the overall feel of sentiment
over there regarding the app.

Many of the comments sound like a lot of comments from blind power users with a
mac for tech. "I don't need it because I'm
smart and work this stuff out easily on my own." not to mention that old "Why
should I pay for something when it could be
given to me free" line. It kind of makes me sad to see how little some
sentiments actually change over the years.

belittling something that doesn't suit them with disregard of those who would
find a product like this helpful. I know
people who don't pick things up quickly for whom this app would be very
helpful. It's procedure is certainly more helpful
than being able to try a few basic things in the voice over menu. Far more like
the Mac VoiceOver tutorial in running you
through situations. I could see this being very helpful for the elderly amongst
other groups. I always wonder and always
will, how quick the community is to bag out products for not being accessible
but how slow to provide helpful feedback or
praise let alone be willing to pay for a product.

All power to the developer for putting the time and effort into it and not
boxing all VIPs together with the same know how
and off the bat abilities.
