I just spent about twenty minutes trying to find where, either in system prefs or VO settings, I can set VO to come up speaking automatically at the logon screen, or if there is no logon screen, to just come up speaking at startup. I ask because something happened to my iMac this morning where I had an unresponsive screen and had to reboot. While rebooting, a message screen came up, hung there for a long time, and then the iMac desktop came up. However, VO was not running, I had to turn it on manually. I don't know what the message screen was saying, or why VO suddenly didin't come up talking at startup. Whatever the case, I want to find where I set VO to speak at logon/startup.
