if you go into classic mode with cmd option s you might find you can do most of 
the stuff again. Also if you don't like that mode and want to go in to list 
mode choose that when you let's say choose an playlist from the pop up button. 
I like the classic mode so I stick to it. I hope apple does not take away 
classic mode..
