What if I replaced the 5400 hard drive with a 7200 solid state? upgrade ram
from 4 to 8 MB?

Wow. That's amazing. I have the mac mini 2012 version too! LOL, Apple is
getting lots of money for the mini, LOL. Well, sometimes I do experience
legginess when typing, and I do think that getting a little more Ram will
help a little. And if apple has something like the way in Windows where
you can make a USB flash drive an extension to the memory onboard, you can
just use an old drive, but it'll come as a sacrifice of one of your USB
ports, because you'll probably have to keep the drive in all the time.

You want to improve its response? Voiceover is slow on your end? What
Mac do you have? I think getting more Ram might help it. But on my end,
even with the mac mini, voiceover is just as fast, and maybe even more
so, to NVDA on windows.
