Hello.

Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have just brought on board a few
more staff members to my company (See signature below for more information.)
Now that I am trying to get this company up and going with more than a 1 person
operation, I need to be in the market for some equipment to help my business
grow.

Basically, here is the situation. I have a white mid 2010 13 inch macbook,
with no customizations. So basically, 2 USB ports which 99% of the time are
already in use, then my one stereo 3.5MM audio jack which depending on system
preferences can be set as a line-in or as an earphone out. I also have an
IPhone 5 running I O S 6.0.2. I need a good quality headset, but here is the
catch. What I need to be able to do is have it where I can somehow connect my
macbook's audio to the headphones, but I also need to be able to connect my
IPhone 5's audio to the headset. I need to do this so that if I get a business
call, callers will not hear Voiceover yammering in the background, as that is
totally! unacceptable, not to mention downright unprofessional. Plus, if I am
looking through account configurations or back end stuff which is only
accessible by the company staff, then I don't want that stuff bleeding out for
the caller to hear.

I know that there are lots of good bluetooth headsets. Believe me: I have a
few of them which are killer, but they all will only let me connect them to one
device at a time. Obviously, they can be pared with as many devices as I want,
but they can only be connected to one of them at a time. So what I need is
something where I either could not only pare it to my phone and my mac, but
could even have it be connected to both at the same time, or something where I
could use a 3.5MM plug going to my mac, and another to my phone, or something
similar. Preferably something where I could pan it out where my mac be on one
ear, and the IPhone on the other. If that isn't possible, I'd settle for both
coming through both ears, but I just need some way to work around this. I know
some people will just put the phone up to one ear, and the ear phones up to the
other, but for me, especially over an 8 hour shift day find that incredibly
uncomfortable, not to mention at best, very awkwar
 d.

I'm willing to pay upward of $250 on the high end for something that would
accomplish this, but I don't really want to spend more than that if I can help
it.

Do any of you all have any suggestions? Before you ask, no, we cannot use a
softphone or a sip phone via software on the mac then do our calls from the
computer instead of the phone. The way our pbx trunks are setup, that isn't an
option that we have. Calls have to get routed through a physical phone line,
be it a land line, or a cell phone.

Thanks.
