I use a Saffire pro14 interface for recording which has multiple inputs. On Garage band, I could easily select the specific input for each track. On Audacity, I can't select inputs at all even though I have selected the saffire in preferences. In Amadeus pro, it seems to select more than 1 input. Both input 1 and 2 are selected at least. Is there a way to tell Amadeus which input I want to use for each track or is it a matter of turning off a mike when recording guitar and vice versa?
This stumbling block is frankly driving me nuts. I have a beautiful interface but I can't seem to tell DAW's apart from GarageBand which input I want to use for each track. Any help greatly appreciated.
