If you go to the app store, double tap the update tabv on the bottom right of the screen, up the top, you'll find a purchased heading which is a button. Double tap it, select the not on my phone/ipod/pad tab and you'll get a list of all the apps you've gotten in the past that aren't currently on your device. You can download any easily this way as well.
