Hi again. I'm no expert and would never attempt to make definitive statements, however it does now sound like something could be a mis either with the IPhone connector or the doc. I wonder if you could try docking to another device and see if you get the same problem. If you don't then the problem it clearly with the the dock, if you do then it kind of points to the connector on your IPhone. Sorry my suggestion didnt' bear frute.
