I think it is, or so I remember when I was in training. even when you restart it. the display settings reset themselves, a good idea in case I mess up and need eyes to get sound back.
now if only the sounds would reset themselves to factory defaults except when something is plugged in to the headphone jack. That would be good in case vo crashes and you are running it through sf (sound flower). Take care.
